You’re right. The Holy Trinity is not a religion but a relationship. God only wants to be our friend, to be our best friend. Someone who we can trust and talk to, no matter where we are, he’ll always be there to protect and love us. His Grace is infinite and we just have to accept his blessings and not question the path he leads us to. He only wants the best for us and we just need to let the Spirit guide our steps.
FAQ
What’s simple church?
(adapted from Dawn Ministries)
By ’simple church’, we mean a way of doing and being church that is so simple that any believer would respond by saying, “I could do that!”*
By ’simple church’, we mean the kind of church that is described in the New Testament—not constrained by structure but by the needs of the extended family (oikos) and a desire to extend the Kingdom of God.
By ’simple church’, we mean a church that listens to God, follows His leading and obeys His commands.
Does “simple” mean lower quality?
Absolutely not! Simple church may be easier to do but the smaller, more intimate, participatory setting is quite ideal for growing healthy disciples of Jesus Christ. Of course, ultimately it’s really not about the structure, simple church or not—church gatherings are about encountering God and building up the body. That is our focus.
